Teacher – Community Care Support

Main duties and responsibilities:

Support HOD in the overall Department’s planning and managing of resources and its curriculum design and development.
Be a role model and mentor to teachers/students to develop their capabilities.
Provide career guidance to students.
Design effective instructional materials to enhance students’ learning.
Create conducive and industry-oriented learning environment.
Establish positive partnerships with parents and community to enhance learning outcomes for students.

Requirements:

Basic

Minimum Diploma in Nursing, Community Care, Healthcare, or equivalent.
At least 2 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse in hospital, nursing home or day care center.
Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable with learning and preparing teaching and presentation materials using technology, e.g. video, Kahoot!, Google Classroom, etc.
Confident in giving presentations.

Advantageous

Qualification in ACTEP, PCTE, WSQ ACTA and/or Dace.
Training or teaching experience.
Candidate with adequate experience in nursing and teaching/training will be considered for middle management role. Pay package will be commensurate with candidate's qualifications and the role involved.
