REQUIREMENTS

For admission in January 2026

Students who attempted the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) and do not qualify for Posting Group 1, 2 or 3 but chooses to progress to NorthLight School or Assumption Pathway School.

APPLICATION

For students who choose to progress to NorthLight School

1. The Online Admission Registration via FormSG as follow:

   
   Note: The Online Registration FormSG will be open after 25 November 2025 (Tuesday) 11 AM.

2. Submit the Online Admission Registration Form via FormSG and relevant documents by 1 December 2025 (Monday) 12 p.m.

3. If you are applying for FAS*, please take note of the following information.

   1. Recommended: Apply 2026 FAS through Primary School

      Apply 2026 FAS through your child/ward’s Primary School and bring the 2026 FAS approval letter (if received and ready) to NLS during registration.

   2. FAS Application via ComCare / Welfare Home / Primary School FAS

      If you are applying for FAS using one of these valid approval letters:

      • ComCare
      • Welfare Home
      • Primary School FAS

      You DO NOT need to fill up the online FAS FormSG.

      Please bring your valid approval letter with you during your child/ward's assigned registration time slot for FAS processing.

   3. For All Other FAS Applications

      Please complete your FAS application online using the official FAS FormSG portal
      

      

   4. Important Note on Processing Time 

      Please submit your FAS FormSG application at your earliest convenience. It may take up to 10 working days (after your successful submission of the FormSG) for MOE to return the necessary information to the school for our processing.   

      We kindly seek your understanding that your FAS application may still be under processing, and its outcome may not be ready yet on the registration day.

4. If you are authorizing someone else to attend the Registration Day on your behalf, please complete the Proxy Form and bring it on that day for verification.

5. Parent/Guardian can expect to know the outcome of the registration application via an Offer of Admission email by 4 December 2025 (Thursday).
   

* To facilitate the application, we encourage applicants eligible for the MOE FAS to apply for his/her MOE FAS application for 2026 at his/her primary school. If he/she has siblings in the same school or other sibling in other government or government-aided school (GGAS), please include him/her in his/her sibling’s FAS application. This will facilitate his/her MOE FAS application in NorthLight School.

REGISTRATION

Successful applicants are required to bring along the following documents (information can be found in the Offer of Admission package via email) when they report for registration at NorthLight School.

1. Child/Ward birth certificate

2. Parent/Guardian's NRIC/FIN

3. Re-entry permit (if your child/ward is a Singapore Permanent Resident)

4. Student pass (if your child/ward is an international student)

5. Letter of custody (if applicable)

6. Divorce certificate (if applicable)

7. Medical report/Doctor's letter/Psycho-educational report/SEAB outcome of. 2025 PSLE access arrangement application (if applicable)

8. Completed Edusave form

9. Completed GIRO form (if applicable)

10. Completed Proxy form (if you are authorizing someone else to attend the Registration Day on your behalf)

11. Payment for school fees (cash, NETS or PayNow) and uniform (cash or PayNow)

Other Information

1 . School Hours

Monday and Tuesday – 8 a.m. to 2.15 p.m.
Wednesday – 8 a.m. to 2.45 p.m.
Thursday – 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Friday – 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Students are to be in the Hall for the flag-raising ceremony, which commences at 8 a.m. sharp. Students are advised to report 10 minutes earlier on Friday, 2 January 2026 in the Multi-Purpose Hall at level 2.
