Sepak Takraw is made up of Year 1 to Year 4 students who are enthusiastic and motivated to learn the skills for the sport. The students play the game at recreational and competitive level and are trained, guided and supervised by dedicated teachers and a coach. Every year the students will be participating in the Inter-school tournament, inter-class tournament and friendly matches with other schools or other approved competition.

Objectives:

Sepak Takraw CCA aims to develop our students in the following ways :

  1. To provide for physical, social, mental development and healthy lifestyles through sepak takraw CCA.
  2. To build character, team spirit and responsibility and sense of belonging to the school.
  3. To promote friendship and social integration.

Training schedule:

  • Every Friday, 8.00am to 10.00 am

9th ASEAN SCHOOL GAMES

Zack Danial from 4MS1 has been selected to represent Singapore School for the 9th ASG in Sepak Takraw.

Zack made it to the last 12 players after he has shown commitment, passion and determination to perform at his best. Zack is playing in a striker position and has inspired the rest of the sepak takraw team to perform better.

 

As a captain of the sepak takraw team, he showed good leadership and motivates his peers to do well and always try their best.
