Teacher – Infocomm Technology

Main duties and responsibilities:

Work closely with teachers and IT support team to facilitate the teaching and learning of Info-Communications Technology (ICT) lessons for students in both academic and non-academic areas.
Identify and design support structures, strategies, and resources.
Provide technical support in Computer Labs and/or individual and small group teaching that meets students’ learning needs.
Design and develop lesson packages to support individual and small-group teaching.
Monitor the effectiveness of teaching support provided for students regularly and recommend improvements to enhance students’ learning.
Provide support to ICT department in its initiatives, projects, and assessments.

Requirements:

At least a Diploma or its equivalent in Information Technology.
Teaching qualification attained from institutions, e.g., National Institute of Education (NIE), International Baccalaureate, Cambridge International Education or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is a must.
Possess proficient knowledge and skills in MS Office, Computer Basics, Video/Audio editing, and Basic Programming.
Relevant teaching experience.
Resilient individual with a passion for working with students, especially those who are less academically inclined.
Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
